Who could forget the haunting wail of the venerable Tie Fighters that we were first introduced to back in Star Wars IV The New Hope. Us old farts call it Star Wars and it was first played on big screens when gasoline was less than a dollar a gallon.

No doubt about it, the Tie Fighter Interceptor is a fearsome opponent and many an X-Wing fighter fell victim to the quad laser cannons mounted on each wing. No self respecting X-Wing fighter pilot wanted to find a Tie Interceptor on their six.

The Tie Fighters came in a few different flavors with the standard Tie Interceptor that we are all familiar with being the most commonly seen version of the Tie Fighter but we also were given a look inside of Darth Vaders own customized Tie Fighter with it's angular wings and advanced styling. The Dark Lord can't really be tooling around the galaxy in the same ride as the rest of the masses can he?
