With the excitement surrounding the upcoming animated version of The Clone Wars, there is a high level of excitement around the Star Wars franchise again. There is no question that Star Wars is an 800 lb gorilla in the collectibles industry and the amount of money spent on buying and selling Star Wars Collectibles every year rivals the GDP of some entire countries on this planet.
A quick glance at Ebay shows that one of the most wildly popular and sometimes most valuable items traded on Ebay are the ever popular Star Wars Action figures. The very same Star Wars Action figures that you played with as a kid and yeah...maybe as an adult too.
Take a look at this search link...can you believe an early Ben Kenobi action figure is selling for FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ON EBAY?? This thing probably cost a few dollars when it was new and now 15k bucks. Incredible!!
