In Eps 4,5,6 in Star Wars are the Stormtroopers clones?

If so when did they change sides and why?

Answer: The subject of when the Stormtroopers changed from a clone to a highly trained human was never thoroughly discussed in any of the movies but it is widely accepted that the Stormtroopers in the later episodes were not clones.

Initially, the stormtroopers served as the army of the Galactic Empire and were under Imperial authority. It was determined that the Fett clones were susceptible to being manipulated and this was a fatal weakness, especially against someone with knowledge of the Force. The Fett clones were slowly displaced by human recruits who were highly trained, intelligent and fiercely loyal to the Empire. The only legion of Stormtroopers to remain "clones" is the 501st legion of troopers nicknamed Vaders Fist.

Once the Empire developed some stability, the Stormtroopers became the personal army of the Emperor and were tasked with the mission of maintaining and enforcing the will of Palpatine. The continued with this mission until the Empire was ultimately destroyed and both Darth Vader and the Emperor were destroyed.
